Miranda Rights

Post by Michael Williams on Tue Apr 29, 2014 2:03 pm

The Miranda rights are the detained/suspect's current rights during the arrest procedure and the trial. Once the suspect has been detained and is within the Law Enforcement's custody; his/her rights must be read. If the rights aren't being read during the detain/custody, the officers involved may be charged.
1.You have the right to remain silent.
2.Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
3.You have the right to an attorney.
4.If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.
5.Do you understand the rights I have just read to you?
